On 14th October 2019, there was a ‘Scientific Seminar on Gynaecological Oncology and Palliative Care’ in United Hospital. Welcome address was conducted by Brig. Gen. Prof. Md. Nazmul Ahsan (Retd). Introduction of the session was carried out by Dr. Ishrat Jahan Dowel (Palliative Medicine, Clinical Assistant). Key note speaker was Professor Annekathryn Goodman (Professor, Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Reproductive Biology, Harvard Medical School and Massachussetts General Hospital). Dr. Rumana Dowla conducted a session on introduction to Palliative Care.
