On October 14th, the Bangladesh Palliative Care Network Foundation (BPCNF) celebrated World Hospice and Palliative Care Day with a seminar titled “Ten Years Since the Resolution: How Are We Doing?”. The seminar featured insightful discussions on the progress, challenges, and future directions of palliative care in Bangladesh.
Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed was present for strategic discussion. Also Dr. Rumana Dowla, Founder and Chairperson of BPSCF; Dr. Shahinur Kabir, Palliative Care Consultant & Founder of Hospice Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. Zohra Jameela Khan, Pediatric Palliative Care Specialist shared valuable insights on the overall impact of palliative care initiatives and emphasized the importance of making this essential service accessible to all those in need.
